Working with a major supermarket chain, Safesite was approached to come up with a cost effective solution to prevent unauthorised access to their chiller units which were predominantly located in their car parks with a high volume of pedestrians.
Safesite carried out site surveys to all the supermakets in question which were based UK wide ranging from several in London, Southampton and Devon. Double wired mesh with a pedestrian gate with a lock was decided to the best option both for cost and effectivity. As this was a health and safety matter the works needed to be carried out quickly. Safesite carried out the majority of these works during December some within 1 week from order to completion of the job and continues to work with the supermarket on a national level on new sites
